The Sinn 103 St OU has quite a special "triple progressive tachymeter" scale for reading speeds .....
..... from 20 km/h up to 400+ km/h. I think it is overall quite a nice watch even though I usually prefer less busy dials. I got it when it hit the market back in 2012 and even tough it was not sold as "Limited Edition" and the watches are not individuall...
Do you have to keep your eye on the needle?
As there are three concentric scales, do you have to keep an eye always on the rotating needle to check which scale is "stopped" at? Regards, MTF
Yes, because the subscale at 9 is the running second. So you need to be aware if the stop second is in its first, second or third iteration. But then......
......the first Iteration is for movements between 20-30 km/h, the second for movements between 30-60 km/h and the third for movements between 60-400 km/h and I guess one would even "with the naked eye" be able to guess in which bracket the speed is. Chee...
