Time is precious and in finite supply, so one has to be a little discriminating about the posts one reads. 


You are absolutely entitled to use the moniker ‘Teacher Yang’ (or Batman, or Mad Max, or A. Nencephalic, for that matter), but it will always be just that: a monicker. Conversely, ‘Queen Elizabeth II’ is a title; ‘Lord Arran’ is also a title. In the latter case it may not be hereditary; it is, though, heraldic. Lord Arran has a right to be known by the title bestowed on him, and it deserves its due acknowledgement; that’s the only point here.
