Made by AHCI member Christiaan Van Der Klaauw himself. Actually the last steel one produced before they made the switch to there new house style (dials) etc. The Planetarium shows (real time) the solar orbits of Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter and Sa... 

to think the cogs and gears can move the "planets" accurate to their orbital period. Especially intriguing when we come to realize that the planets are in concentric circles evenly spaced out while in the real case, they aren't. Did they explain in the ma...

But the AD where I bought the Planetarium told me that they only sold 1 or 2 per year. So I guess they are really scares. Especially if you know there are different dials and movements as well.

The company got bought by 3 investors (so to speak) and Mr vd Klaauw only has an advisory role now (used to be a one man shop so to speak). I'm sure there is some info somewhere about that on their site or on Mr Google

I remember the shot of one of the planets through one of the hands as well, that was great. Definitely like this version the most, the newly introduced C&A version doesn't quite do it for me... CvdK is really a great brand, the detailing on the watche... 

at least it's serviced easily. Apart from the planets complication part that is..... :-o
