These watches are the outcome of an interesting approach. Having said that, I'm less seduced by this combo than you and I much prefer a more "technical" Hublot. For example, I like the watches created with Italia Independent. But it is obviously a matter of taste!

Do they still use champagne to polish the Berluti leather?
They used to hold classes for Berluti owners about polishing shoes. Instead of the common or garden-method of "spit and polish", Berluti recommended champagne. I think it was young non-vintage champagne for the acidity. What label? I don't think it was sp...
I didn't ask but champagne was not used for this purpose during the event!
The Maison was Ruinart, another LVMH brand. Yes, the Place Vendome looks beautiful now after so many works. Well, except the works on the Boucherou flagship. Always something going on... Thanks! Fx
