When I bought a watch for my wife I stop caring about ding and scratches, it’s a gift to her and I think I need to do a step back on this If I lend her one of my watches, she gets the right instructions on how to wear it and then usually she takes one of ... 

You can scratch almost any watch. The PVD-coated Hublot cases are already very resistant. Maybe you will see some small impacts on the edges of the bezel over time. But that's part of wearing a watch. Cheers, Sascha

Is the bezel in which the baguettes are set made of PVD Titanium? And then the rest of the top of the watch case is ceramic, the middle piece is PVD titanium and the base is ceramic again? Do I have this correct? I love these (con)fusion cases, but it is ... 

.... the bezel and the case parts are made of PVD-coated titanium. Hublot always makes bezels with stones in them out of metal. The only exception are the new sapphire crystal bezels, in which the stones are set with transparent silicone. Cheers, Sascha

Usually on Big Bang ceramic models the upper case, bottom case and end-pieces are made of ceramic and the inner case which you don't see as it lies beneath is made of titanium. It is very difficult (I don't believe any company has done it) to set diamonds...  

I’m okay with the bezel being metal, but I thought as you said the top, bottom and end pieces were ceramic. I am gathering from Sascha’s response that’s not the case here and the only ceramic piece is the bottom part. That makes it a “no” for me as just t... 

I am 100% sure the upper case, bottom case and end pieces are ceramic on an original Desert Bang since Hublot doesn't produce any Big Bangs with a case in black PVD/DLC metal (the cases are either steel, titanium, gold, ceramic or carbon fiber not a singl...
