What I love with DB is the variety of designs: some are very futuristic, some others are more poetic (Starry Varius) but all are technically a great achievement and with a global consistency in design: a DB is immediately recognizable even for far away.
Here are some that I had a chance to see in detail with friends not long ago and the last one is the one that really sings to my heart…

Absolutely agree, an object of art, imho.
Also, I believe, this design works better with long lugs, as the one on your photo. DB also offers a choice of shorter lugs to fot smaller wrists, but I believe from the design balance point of view longer lugs work better for this watch.
