sturgeon then and now

 

Was your original strap one of the early sturgeon straps?


Mine was - and it was certainly a beefy boot grade of leather... took a while to mould in shape like good leather shoes, but lasted well and still doesn't stink ;-)

Would be worth getting the more current strugeon to compliment that lovely dial of yours - skived to be thinner but still as durable and unbothered by water.

Changing the strap was quite a challenge becoz the lugs are really really short and the strap actually goes under the case
