51 vs. 114 grams
Dear PuristS,
it's not so easy to talk with you about the 349SPORT, because a picture clearly can't do the same work of the direct experience.
The only fellow Purist that had the opportunity to play with the watch was Mark in Paris, and here I'd like to thank him for the very pleasant dinner we had in Paris in January.
If I remember well, the first comment Mark expressed was about the lightness of the watch, due to the large use of titanium. That's the reason why I think it should be interesting to compare the 349SPORT to a very well known watch: "our" All Black Rescue. Please, look at the following picture.
Both of the watches are on a scale and you'll immediately notice the difference in weight: 51 vs. 114 grams.
Of course, you'll also notice the difference in size: diameter (10-4) 38,30 vs. 42 mm., thickness 10,40 vs. 11,7 mm.
You also may notice I prefer to invert the strap positioning, with the buckle at 6.
Well, ok, it's not the comparison within these two watches I'm interested in, I'd rather wanted to help you imagine what's the 349SPORT.
Thank you for reading.
