A must-read: "Daniel Roth: The Story of a Genius in Four Parts" by Denny Grigolo
This series provides a sweeping history of Mr. Roth's career as a watchmaker. It touches upon his most influential work at Breguet, and one by one provides an account of each group of references under his eponymous label. The four parts bring the reader up to the present day (2018 at the time of its writing) with his work with JDN.
You can find Denny Grigolo's richly illustrated series online at Orologi di Classe. It is written in Italian and given how private Mr. Roth is and the dearth of material on his work, it is highly recommended reading.

You're welcome. By some accounts he's regarded as the pioneer of modern independent watchmaking.
If he had just stopped with what he accomplished with Breguet, that would already have been a career. But since he became its principal watchmaker in his 20s, he had plenty left to offer, as we've since seen. His own company's watches from the early 1990s...
Can’t give you more info about this watch but like you i love his work and craftsmanship. There are some guys on IG who know a lot about his early pieces .
Would love to meet him at some point and see his newest JDN masterpieces . I recently added two DRs to my collection (still don’t know why it took me so long to do so) ...

Is there a catalogue of his references somewhere? Perhaps run by Bvlgari (similar to that maintained by Omega for its vintages). I will now approach Bvlgari about this, so is anyone reading this can share some guidance I would be grateful.
