A very interesting brand with lots of good offering. As a (not-so-) marginal detail, I'm literally IN LOVE with the hands of their watches...easily THE most beautiful of the entire industry! It'd be great to visit their AD before deciding! ;-) Cheers.

I think most here will say MG watches are finished extremely well. MJ23 has a bunch of beautiful posts about his hamatic.

Not the most legible but those hands ... Finishing is a class above Lange. Some details at the level of the best independents. I think you will be very impressed when you see it in person. The rose gold is very charming, both versions. ...
They make beautiful watches
And are off the “beaten path”, if it speaks to you in person I say go for it! You’ll probably be the only one in your circle to have one. The purple is a nice change from blue.
I think the backpage is finished to a slightly higher level than the standard Benus.
There's a bit more anglage in certain areas like around the recess for the ratchet wheel. Also, that black polished piece in the middle looks incredible. I have a Tefnut, my only watch and I've been very happy with it! ...

You can not go wrong with either option but........if i had to choose i would choose the backpage. Alternatively, going back to your prior option (the lange) here are some watches I think might be some good alternatives. ...

I also considered the Backpage but ended up going for the simpler Central Second. They are superb watches with wonderful finishing. I love the innovation of the Backpage.
