I look forward to hearing about yours. That strap sounds like an ideal match, so I hope you post some pictures.
There is something about the MIH watch that feels like it will simplify this often complicated hobby, and I dig that. Hopefully the collection cost will be worth it, but I do wish I could see one in person before making the leap.

worth it in my opinion
the calendar and chronograph function, the design and involvement of three leading watchmakers and designers, and support for the museum all in one highly sought after piece. I love mine. Sorry, mine is still on rubber strap.
