Habrings Galore

On Friday I had the great pleasure of meeting Maria and  Richard Habring and having the chance to explore their wonderful collection.  Martin Pulli hosted the-meet-and-greet event at his incredible store in Manyunk, just outside of Philadelphia.  Here is some of what I saw.

My friend is having a hard time choosing his next watch...

My personal favorite (Habring2 Fourdroyante with Jumping Seconds Hand -- I think this is also called a "dead seconds," right?):

And I really love this one, too (Chrono COS):

The Habrings offer some really amazing complications in very attractively designed watches.  I think the value is amazing: you have the opportunity to get an essentially bespoke watch at a very reasonable price, some very interesting complications executed extremely well, and there are some wonderful people behind these watches that make the experience that much more rewarding.

I want to thank Martin for creating this great opportunity and providng a warm welcome.  And I thank the Habrings for sharing their terrific collection with us.  This was my first real introduction to Habring, and now the Foudroyante with the dead seconds is haunting me.

Best,
