Lang & Heyne offer good after sales service but I am not so sure about AkriviA as they are pretty new and are in the process of establishing a good retail network. Saying that for example, there is an AkriviA AD in the UK whereas Lang & Heyne do not have one yet. In my experience, very little go wrong with Marco Lang's creations perhaps also because the movements are not overly complex although beautifully decorated. AkriviA's movements though are more complex and I personally would be a bit apprehensive when buying one of their pieces just in case something goes wrong. A great brand though with a great future!
Your watches will require servicing even if you do not use them regularly. Some may argue, you might even need to service them more often if you use them less simply because the servicing would not just involve checking for water ingress and accuracy but also changing the oil and certain parts. Imagine not using a car very much. Some may argue wear and tear would be minimised but with age and a lack of use, a car would need as much if not more attention than one used daily.
