How to buy a Kari?
Hello PuristZ,
This might sound like a little bit of a stupid question, but I just wanted to put it out there as it has been on my mind for a few hours now. An Observotoire is one of my grails, and I fully intend on adding one to my collection in the not so distant future (perhaps a few months after my Lange which is incoming in a week, depending on whether funds permit). I am just wondering, how exactly does one buy a Kari? Are there any AD in the world seeing as they are such a small brand? Or is it on a by order basis only? Is there an application that needs to be filled out like for haute Patek's? Are you allowed to select the exact specifications that you want ie dial colour, hand colour, metal, strap etc? Also, what is the waiting time like for one if someone decided to go for a completely bespoke piece?
Sorry if it's a stupid question I'm just very curious,
Best Regards,
Enrique

As there are no more Observatoire's left you can either hunt for a pre-owned one around forums or if you like a bespoke one, you'll only have the Vingt 8 now (OR, if you're willing to go further, a truly bespoke Unique Piece commission with Kari). Sadly, ...

Brilliant, in fact! He who seeks a KV watch exhibits great discernment, in my humble opinion. Others have hinted at this, but to be explicit, if you'd like to buy a pre-owned Observatoire take a careful look at the Collectors' Market on this very site! Th...
