I admit there was a little argument with the seller of the watch...
...about who had to pay for the service (me or him). It was a NOS which clearly needed re-oiling of the machinery but the seller was resistant to admit it in the beginning.
Eventually he did, but it cost me a few months...

Curious to know how long the service took. I had a friends Patek been in for 8months and more recently my AP is expecting a min 16-week service time.

thats a decent length of time
It can be quite surprising how old these NOS watches are which can make for interesting times if you try and claim under guarantee!
