I feel your pain!!

 

Here are my three. I missed the release of the Centre Seconds in 2020 due to COVID travel restrictions but picked one up pre-owned for a small premium over list in mid 2021 just before prices went crazy. That particular model has held its value pretty well. I got the perpetual direct from Moser on release and the chronograph later as the pre-owned prices are now crazy low on this one.

I’ve followed Moser from the relaunch under the Meylan family ownership. I also have an Endeavour Dual Time Tourbillon which I picked up in Harrods years ago. For my tastes they hit the sweet spot in terms of innovation, finishing and price. It’s a brand that forces me to practice self-restraint - but as someone once reminded me “you can’t own ‘em all” 🤣🤣

but I prefer the finishing on the 1st generation AgenGraphe movement of the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph I also like the pop of white that the beautiful calligraphic script provides compared to the lacquer script on the 2nd generation model. The good n...

Not sure the differences in finishing but I prefer the most finished 👍

The 2nd generation has elements of anthracite gray rhodium plating.

The quality of the finishing is similar I believe - just the aesthetics are different. Personally, I prefer the “brightness overload” or the 1st generation movement. ...  

I own the first generation with the visible logo. On the movement I think I prefer the second gen. The Agengraphe for Moser has a mix of machine and hand-finishing

which is better than what you’d typically get from Moser. In the second gen, it’s easier to see which parts have handfinishing (some/most of the silver coloured parts) vs machine-finishing (the anthracite parts).

I’ll forgive the machine finishing for the “value for money” trade off here. I just love the movement “bling” on the first generation which together with the AgenGraphe movement architecture makes quite a statement.

You can get two Alpine limited edition Tourbillon models.

Also the RG boutique edition. Personally I see this line as being defined by the bracelet. In discussion with Edouard Meylan he indicated the bracelet design came before the case design but there are these options. ...  

I saw the similar movement design and architecture in the pioneer case a few years ago.

It wasn’t the finished product at the time - just the prototype immediately prior to Watches and Wonders in 2022. I may get to see one next weekend. I’m not sure about the pink one but quite like the blue 🤣

Word by word . These watches cost a lot of money . We all want a protect investment , so the usual suspect will always be chosen more vs companies that are really make bold decisions but , unfortunately for my wallet , I’m sucked into these more bold comp...
