I have thought about them all

Nomos's entire catalogue was considered, as well as dornblueth and kudoke. I still feel that Habring2 is a better choice for me. It's more of a feel thing than it is based on reason. The ethos of Kudoke and Dornblueth are more aesthetically than technically aligned. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but for the purpose that this purchase is supposed to fulfill, that isn't what I want. The aesthetics of the club and tangente just aren't to my taste. I quite like the minimatik dial, but the way the bezel meets the midcase would slowly drive me mad. To be clear, I'd love to have all of these watches in my collection one day. They are all excellent. But this is a symbolically important purchase for me, so little things that I would normally overlook have to be considered.
