I love it but you took the right decision imho

Probably I wouldn’t have sell it (but to be honest I didn’t try it on my wrist and this is an essential thing to do to take a decision) but this is based on my opinion which is irrelevant, only yours counts and you were not feeling comfortable with it or at least not fully happy with it, thus not wearing it (only few times). If even during the honeymoon you are not fully in love it means probably this one isn’t for you 🤷‍♂️. In my long watch journey I have owned (and sold) many watches, flipping a lot as I was excited to get a watch that I thought I was in love with (or maybe I was in love but not for life and another one was coming I was loving more). Anyhow after thinking about it I decided one day that flipping so much wasn’t right and I should be more consistent about what I really want and what I don’t need. And I started consolidating my collection to only few pieces that I am totally mad for, so that I can concentrate on few grails. The process was long and painful in a way but not so much at the end because I knew where I wanted to go. So I decided to let go many very nice pieces. The most difficult part was to decide which one to let go until I found the almost only criteria to decide : the one I was wearing the least had to go and this is the way I followed to let so many watches go. Now I have consolidated so much that I have only few watches which make me immensely happy and that I consider all as keepers (unless I fall so much in love again and can’t resist 😉 lol). Obviously for the reasons you mentioned you are not wearing this beauty, so if passion and love is not there anymore it’s better to separate peacefully and let the watch be happy with a new owner 😉.
