but... then onto the watches... Tim pulls out a watch case and unveils the One Hertz 1912 (ss) and Dune (rg)... shazam! Incredible pieces and truly modern but super clean dials. The movement... superb! Bart even told me about how they were so focused on building a movement from a watch-makers perspective that he insisted on specific screws because the one initially sources weren't good enough... yes - every detail was considered. As time ticked past (no pun intended) and their departure from HK coming up... I gathered the nerve to ask whether I could purchase a One Hertz SS (remember there are only 12 in the world). They said coyly... almost all of them had been sold but yes they could arrange for one to be allocated to me... success!!! Can you believe!!! So in a week or so, I will become the proud new owner of a Gronefeld One Hertz 1912. Pics will definitely follow once I take possession...

PS --- sincere thanks to Bart and Tim. they are awesome guys and it was a pleasure meeting both of them so serendipitously on a saturday afternoon in hk.

I was so lucky to live close to the Grönefelds and got to see the watch and parts and how it all came together. This is a magnificent piece with a gorgeous complication, an independent driven deadbeat seconds. Congrats again and please share the phot...
