and I noticed that the watch is 42mm in diameter instead of 38mm and it is 10mm thick instead of 9.1mm. And the price is 15k CHF instead of GBP3,600! Perhaps I am missing something here Salman?!

Thats a novel way to display time. Very cool piece to admire.

Meaning that time can only be appreciated with about a 1/4h of accuracy while you can read the year accurately on a 100 year timeframe. Mus admit I don't really get the project unless the sole purpose is to be different.
