Thank you Richard and i agree with you totally. i could have purchased a serpent date for less but i find the dial too busy. the Piccadilly is an icon and will be a classic forever in my view. G

I too have always admired that model, and yours looks fantastic. Was Peter making 2 sizes back then, and if so, what size did you obtain? Either way, congratulations landing such a magnificent timepiece. Darren

thamks you Darren. he was making 38 and 42mm pieces. mine is 42mm. 38 mm doesnt suit the lugs in my opinion amd is a bit small. theres one at 38mm for sale in UK on purists but i think he will have trouble selling unless a lady buys it. G
