May I ask...
...What's next?
I had the pleasure today of placing an order for
a 42mm blue numbered Piccadilly Serpent Calendar from Peter
Speake-Marin. (thanks to some here for the guidance on this.) As I have
a 5-6 months wait for it's delivery, I guess now is a good a time to
start the research on the next addition to my collection.
My criteria:
Date (minimum complication)
Case 42mm +/- 2mm
In-house or significant modification
Limited by design (will only make x) or availability (can only make x)
Prefer exhibition back (not required)
Budget: $15,000 max
My
hope is a collection of 5 significant pieces from independent watch
makers in the next five years. I have my 2007 addition coming, thoughts
on what's next for 2008?
Thanks!
