Moonbridge - Sarpaneva launches steel bracelet with his very original design code...for his Korona 42mm case !
We all know his strong and unique design code of his timepieces leave no room for anyone to mistake it for any other timepieces - Well, he have done the same for his bracelets too.
His Steel bracelet is constructed with crescent shaped links and the bracelet is rightly named 'Moonbridge'
The distinctive designed bracelet stays different to any other bracelet I've come across but manages to maintains the same design language from his timepieces.
The bracelet is made by Maison Maspoli to Sarpaneva design using High-grade 316L stainless steel, tapers naturally from 22mm to 18mm and is built robustly at 3,1mm thickness.
Visually, the bracelet blends well as a natural extension to the case but gives stronger presence to the timepieces.
The alternative satin and polish pattern are hand finished with traditional tools in typical traditional fashion.
I love the stepped design, which is quite impactful visually and unique.
The complete bracelet adds 70g to the timepiece and has half-links to allow adjustments.
Hidden double butterfly clasp completes the bracelet.
Given the love collectors have for steel bracelets and the practicality it offers for the wearer...I think it is a great choice from Sarapneva to launch bracelet for his Korona case timepieces.
I love the originality of his designs and the personality this bracelet adds to the timepiece.
Nevertheless, I think the bracelet wouldn't naturally fit to any other timepiece other than Sarapeva, which in a way is restrictive for collectors.

At first glance, I was quickly reminded of a Panerai bracelet, but of course there is quite a bit more happening here. Bet this will be good for the brand.
Although i am not a big bracelet kinda guy i really like his design style a lot .
Definitief hope to see it soon and try it on the wrist when possible
