The Piccadilly case is one of the most distinctive watch case designs, not to mention the foundation hands. I like how both the 38mm and the 42mm give the watch a slightly different look (38mm a bit more dressy). The enamel dials on Peter's watches are to die for.
What surprised me was how well the dial on the Spirit Mk II was executed. The little "3D" blocks of lume - and they REALLY glow!
Believe it or not, most of us were even attracted to the watch displays, for which the base take the shape of the signature Speake-Marin mystery rotor.

in my collection too! Peter really knows how to make modern classics. I think you know this old man's wrist. I will bring it to Tokyo if I ever get the time! Glad you got to spend time with Peter and his watches, it really doesn't get any better than that...

And as it turns out it might be a very expensive dinner for me. Very taken with the Spirit Mk II. Sigh... Never look at watches in real life. Ever. Nor try on watches. It makes you want to spend money you've yet to make...

I think he visited Japan few times? Being such a huge market for indies i doubt he would miss it. The special made camo nato strap for the DLC pilot is interesting. Would be nice to include in the package as a second strap, so fitting.

That is the risk of going to watch-related dinners :)
But great to catch up with all of you that evening! The DLC is still lingering in my mind too... I'm looking forward to see what Peter have in store for us next year in the form of Mk III...
