Thanks for the great pictures, Tim. I actually sense your excitement through the words and photos of your post. I remember my first encounter in the metal with the DB24 and how it piqued my interest in the brand. I love the DB26 best, followed by the Digi...

gave justice to one of the most beautiful QP out there. A reference for me in terms of legibility ,charm,and.........well its De Bethune...enough said. Mo

It's a brand that had to grow a bit on me in the beginning. And still I love their classic watches like the Chrono and the DB15 the best. GEO

I would mention that although I appreciate the enormous advances and technical prowess of some of the more modern looking De Bethune watches, they are not to my aesthetic, so their rather more classical pieces like the DB 15 are right up my street. I thin... 

This is (strangely) the only QP which screams "Buy me, buy me!" (other than the Moser, perhaps, which doesn't display all the data that the DB does and of course doesn't have 'that' moon). Amanico, aaronm and Dje can all take responsibility for lighting t... 

From what my friend told me, this is likely the first if not one the first very few DB 15's ever sold. Notice it is serial #1. Also note that it doesn't have the same escape bridge with the extra shock absorbing that the later models now have. So I would ...

Does yours have the additional shock protection that the other newer ones appear to have? What vintage is yours, as you too have the "Leap Year" written on your dial? Warm regards, Tim

And one of my favourite DB. The dial is just so uncluttered, which is quite amazing when you realise, how much information is on that dial. Tim, your photos do the piece, equal justice.
