I always enjoy the peculiar or the outcast in terms of watchmaking, something that brings something unique to the table. I said somewhere on this post that I think that watches have transitioned from a practical tool to an art form. As such, I like watches that focus on the artistic side of watchmaking, with an emphasis on unusual case designs and beautiful artisenal crafts! I am also a relatviely flamboyant person and so I like watches that reflect that side of me :p And that is def the best part of these underrrated watches, their prices are often very attractive on the used market, although reliability and servicing is the problem :p Those are def some good choices!! Breguet is so underrated as a brand, i def think it is up there with the best but I am glad they are underappreciated because there are some great deals online for some used ones!!

I had the pleasure of trying a friend's watch. It's really lovely and a tremendous value proposition, especially considering the service, replacement dials and hands. I hope he comes out with a 38 mm soon. I'm kicking myself for missing out on his chronog... 

I've not bothered with a real camera for some time.

What I have struggled with is finding the right app for the iPhone such that one can isolate a single lens. They are out there, but I haven't managed to find one yet. I was able to purchase a specific phone mount for the loupe I own, which is helpful for ...

So, a question for you. Once your uni days have been left behind and (hopefully) you are gainfully employed is there a watch on your radar for years 1-5 of your career? And then, is there something that might be further out in terms of wishlist.
