Thank you for sharing these pictures Nicolas.
Kari's watches are really in a class of their own.
For me they have some the quality of vintage watches like old UG, Omega/ Lemania, PP, VC etc. chronographs. They are almost, well most of them are pieces uniques. For instance you will be hardly pressed finding two of the same dial configuration or finish of the movement. They also have a very particular aura.
So not surprising that, like you, I always aspire to see more of them.
At one stage I had made an inventory and kept pictures of all the Observatoires that exist out there. Now quite a few KV later, I dream that Kari gathers in Môtiers the collectors of his creations. I have spoken to him and his wife about it. I have an plan
Byt Kari is very naturally so busy that it is unlikely to happen before some time. As a collector this is one of the reverse of the medal, those pieces are so rare (in terms of annual production/ rarity, you are 1500 times more likely to stumble onto a PP than a KV) that the chance to exchange and meet with fellow passionate collector is very scarce.
Kind regards
