Quite interestingly, i had ordered a Laine with Breguet numerals and a guilloche centre dial with a hammered outer circle around the hours counter. When the Laine arrived in July, I placed both watches side by side and instantly decided to sell the Laine as the beauty and class of the Murakumo triumphed in every respect. As the Murakumo had a closed case back, the movement comparison could not be made. I think a very high emphasis is placed on movement construction and movement finishing by purists. i used to feel that way too but for me, the dial is what counts as that is what we see a lot more of.
