I don't think they would have a problem with it. They do provide you with lots of extra parts, so as long as one enquires, and rightfully pays, I don't see why they wouldn't. I have of course emailed them, so I'll see what they say. It certainly would be ...

This is definitely not helping but what do you want? I find it works either way - with a slightly different character - so it really depends on whether you want the change

Regardless of situation. I do wear it casually in everything except maybe a tshirt and shorts, so maybe the red 12 would help add to its versatility. Had I already a black dialed sports watch I would prob keep it the way it is, but that purchase has been ... 

Then a second dial may be an option. As you would be keeping the original one, you could simply change back at the next service, assuming the black dial sports watch will be with you by then

And not too expensive for a little red 12!

Of doing a completely custom dial, but I'm quite fond of the Felix as is. (Saw a very interesting Felix copper dial..)
