Recently I’ve been spending a lot of time in and around Barcelona so I figured to pay a visit to the only indie brand based in this wonderful city - and of course I was wearing my recently acquired Grönefeld Remontoire. After contacting Santi on Instagram...

I am a fan of their watches and it's great to see some pics of their office. A break from the usual Swiss stuff.

I'm not sure whether our mutual view on price point is right or wrong but it is what it is. I just can't get there.

Great that Barcelona boasts two indies - not many cities outside of Switzerland can make that claim! The pieces look lovely and are appropriately subdued - something I like a lot 👌🏻

Love that they have a very clear idea on what they're trying to achieve. Thoughtful and transparent with their production. They're real people who love and make great watches. Look forward to commissioning a piece when the time is right. Thanks for sharin... 

...Barcelona boasts another (older) Indie brand - Pita. Like this one: some very interesting and eclectic pieces. Probably more realistically priced. Cheers, pplater.
