The Lang & Heyne 'Heinrich'
The Heinrich is no longer part of the current Lang & Heyne catalog and it is believed that only around 20 were made.
It features four complications:
- Anti-retrograde radial pointer date (it jumps across from 31 to 1 at the beginning of the month)
- Power reserve indicator
- Remontoir (constant force mechanism)
- Dead-beat seconds
The first example below features a platinum case (39.4 x 11.5 x 46 mm lug-to-lug) and heat-blued pear hands.
Close ups show
imperfections and I know some of you will probably point them out.
Since this is
hand-made, I personally don't mind.

The watch is powered by
Caliber V, which features a "
trigonal"
bridge holding the going train.
And a hand-engraved balance cock with diamond end stone and swan neck fine adjustment.
And solarized crown and ratchet wheels.

But you may prefer
heat-blued cathedral hands, so here is a
white gold example to please you.

Or maybe you prefer rose gold, with a rose gold date pointer?

Or maybe you prefer the
date pointer to be
heat-blued too and the
crown to feature a
sapphire cabochon?

So, impressive watchmaking, here, but no enamel dial and a power reserve indicator which might be controversial:
what do you
think, do you
like this
discontinued model?
Thanks for reading.
Best, Emmanuel
