The Problem is...
...that in this part of the world, getting to apply the question as you so eloquently put it, is not as easy as it might be in other parts of the world. The cultural biases that exist here presupposes that all enquiries to be treated with derision unless one is a noted and recorded big-spender with the retailer in question, not necessarily the HG.
I cannot for the life of me deduce how my post could have been construed as being slanderous in any way, other than having made a general comment about the level of service the general populace is subjected to.
