This is certainly a very beautiful Remontoire
... but I believe I share the point of view of Jurry and ZSHSZ the eight seconds complication is so original and the main innovation of this watch and not a gimmick. As for the “hole” in the dial it doesn’t disturb me at all on the contrary. I would have hated a date window but this little animation in the dial brings life and spice to it imho. Ah les goûts et les couleurs...😉.
But if I would have to decide for an automatic movement then I would go for the LF micro-rotor that is presently the nicest automatic to my eyes.
But to come back to the Brothers the Remontoire is surely a very very attractive option in the Indies world and I must say that this salmon dial is to die for 👍

and the one I've got on order. Can't wait! As others have said, certainly would have been interesting with a micro rotor, as well. Big fan of Laurent Ferrier, as well. Can't go wrong either way, really.

Yes, my tastes certainly prefer a manual movement these days.
But this one is still incredibly well done, in my opinion. The contrast of finishings and the variety of angles are a feast for the eyes.

How much is home made and how much is outsourced, made by others and bought in? Much of the appeal of independants is, well at least for me, the fact that they are independent. z'
