While I have sold as many DB as almost anyone on Earth, including many that feature on this forum, this unique DB28T I bought for myself. Definitely not the sort of thing I would usually choose, when I saw it I thought "this is the most beautiful watch I've ever seen in my life." Figured I had to buy it and decide what to do with it later! Most often I wear it in the office where it puts a smile on my face without having to make such a statement in public. I also dig the white strap! Looks great with the blue lugs

And I personally like it so much more than the original. De Bethune are always tinkering with their designs in real-time and re-thinking concepts. One of the advantages of being such a small manufacturer.

There’s no bad place to start, they are all winners!
But I agree with you, the DB 28 is the most iconic piece for the brand IMHO. It’s so comfortable with the floating lugs and relatively thin, it’s hard to take off the wrist and wear anything else 😀

Here’s a photo I took yesterday that I think came out well. Like a lot of watches the dial changes a lot based on lighting and angles. The whiteness of the titanium case also shows well here, I think. Looking forward to seeing more DeBethune beauties here...
