I am so glad to see it this way. When they showed me this watch I could not imagine wearing it with those extra plastic buffers around the case, but thought without it was quite handsome. You are proving this here, I would wear it this way as well. Very c... 

I started wearing the watch with that plastic protective ring but put it away pretty fast after that

IWC calls them Rubber bumpers, like you'd see on the 70s/80s Mercedes exported to the US. Source: IWC The bumper ear muffs gives it some character, some fun, it's different, looks cool either way 👍 ...
