There is one in the CM that has caught my attention. I never liked the crown, but lately it has grown on me. Did you always like it? Seems like it’s way easy to wind though, there is just something about it, maybe too big in pictures?? Nice collection

Don't forget the 43 mm "not so big" Big Pilot if you are trying them on...

I don‘t thinks so! It is very nicely proportioned and executed! One of my favs from the Fliegers…
However, given your pics, you can wear the 46mm watch well! 👍🏻
I am with Markus here. I think the 43 mm with the black dial is near perfect...👍
That said, it would have been even nearer to perfection if it had a manual movement with a lengthy power reserve.

I had the BP transitional. Gave it up for most of my camera gear. I got 12 years of excellent use out my Nikon but still miss that watch. I now have the BP 42 which is better proportioned so I’m happy now. 😊

I have the modern iteration which gets a lot of wrist time, but I can understand your feelings on how big it seems sometimes. Still, the charm of your 5002 and other pilots is next level.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
