New! Also, Nico would post his time to time and for the longest time I didn’t know why I liked it so much (since I had a newer one)… I like the rounded sapphire, different power reserve indicator and lastly the absence of the date!

Love that dial and bracelet. I also agree, many Jewels for a time and power reserve movement. I sent my pilot chrono to service and it went smoothly.

Thanks. Yes the bracelet, while very inexpensive from Amazon, is quite comfortable and adds a bit of retro flair to the watch.

Right. i am not surprised that a chronograph has that many jewels or more, but why for a time only watch.

I loved and owned the very same one. 44 jewels is not that much... Fo example, you have more than 100 jewels in the Ulysse Nardin Sonata. ;)

Really sorry to learn that your watch was stolen. Sonata is a mini-Minute Repeater not to mention all the other functions like big date, GMT, etc.

Alas, indeed. I know several other watches with an impressive number of jewels. I will check what I have in stock.

I can’t tell you the reason for that many jewels, other than to avoid wear, but I’m impressed by the fact that it went so long without needing service! Definitely a superb reference!

yeah, i am glad it lasted this long hopefully it doesn't take too long to get it services, but it seems 4 months or longer is the norm these days.
