IWC

Got an IWC Ingenieur AMG Chronograph edition from my father. Interesting way of getting this piece: I had checked into hospital with a terminal illness and was going thru surgeries and whilst i was in the hospital i was not wearing any time piece whatsoever which is close to impossible in my normal routine life. My dad was sporting this timepiece on his wrist and instantly took off his watch and put it on my wrist. 

I have fully recovered and i started calling this piece as my hospital watch as it has been on my wrist during major part of my recovery period. It is priceless and has a lot of meaning to it. Though it may not be worth a lot in financial terms.

Ingenieur is an official academic title used in Germany for engineers. IWC first introduced ingenieur in1955 and it was redesigned by legendary Gerald Genta in 1976/1977 and re introduced. This particular piece is 42.50 mm and has ETA/Valjoux 7750 chronograph automatic movement. Produced in limited numbers to celebrate the synergy of mercedes AMG & IWC . Made of Titanium and has a sail cloth kevlar fabric strap with leather and rubber..Few shots for your eyes!
