My IWC Porsche Design Compass watches ref. 3510
Both these were early examples from 1980. This can be identified by two characteristics:
1) the word "Schaffhausen" on the dial is in capitalized serifed italics (while later it was in cursive)
2) the bracelets on both watches are in aluminum (while very soon after launch they were replaced by delrin (plastic) bracelets as the PVD color flaked easily off the aluminum)
The watches had a number of patents for case, antimagnetic movement, compass etc.
