My IWC Spitfire Perpetual Calendar is back...
Picked up my watch from IWC Boutique in Ginza this morning. Over the year end the date jumped from 2017 to 2118 and had gone in for an overhaul... my papers are in storage but as far as I remember the Spitfire Perpetual Calendar LE was purchased in 2005-...

It's my daily wear watch... I was surprised by the new bracelets on the IWC pilot watches... mind you it's been awhile since I looked.

Not sure what the industry standard is for overhaul work but they slapped a two year warranty on the watch which I appreciated. Just happy to have it back on the wrist. Casey
2 years is better than standard.
Typically the service warranty is 1 year at least for IWC and Patek which I have experience with. Rolex might be more now since their new watch warranty is 5 years witch is the longest in the industry. Beautiful watch. Wear it in good health.

I was talking to a friend in the US (East Coast)...
and we were comparing service (overhaul) prices vs. original list price... the percentage is about the same in both locations. Re: non-photo forum post... hahaha... I do have a small collection and I understand that many of the watch guys also take photos...
