One of the all time classics
I had non rattrapante version in exactly the same dial.... no longer with me, but missed dearly.
The dial with the gold markings and numerals, the sloped edge of the dial for the seconds markers.
And in the double split version with two blued hands, it is a winner, not to mention the functionality you are getting, which many brands charge nearly 10x for!
I have noticed IWC keep trying to re-invent the portuguese line, the yacht club, the classic, recently re-released...
But the original is the best.

Thanks. It seems that one has to go far upmarket to get real richness and volume in an otherwise silent presentation.
Making good minute repeaters is part art and part science, perhaps with a bit of witchcraft thrown in.
It doesn't surprise me that La Grande Maison could produce a musical minute repeater.

Yes, way up market to get a decent MR.
The MR, unlike many other complications, cannot be done both well and inexpensively. UN had their recent relatively low priced tourbillon. Many have high-value perpetual calendars. But a good sounding, good value MR is elusive.
