The current Ingenieurs don't have any special magnetic resistance from any other "ordinary" watch. Instead, we get IWC trying to tie the line into...car racing???
How sad how one of the three main historic magnetic resistant watches (Ingenieur, Milgauss, Railmaster) has fallen IMO.
I hope IWC revamps this line next year like they did their Pilot's watches this year.

Arguably one of IWC's best
I owned one for a few years and enjoyed it. As you say, it is a bit chunky and it can be difficult to get a good fit with the bracelet (even with a 1/2 link). But it's a beautiful, classic piece. IWC really needs to bring back a Genta-inspired Ingenieur, ...

As an electrical engineer, I'd rank it as my favorite "engineering" watch, above the Milgauss and Omega's 15k Gauss Seamaster.
