From what year is this watch, approximately?
My sense is it's early-to-mid '40s production . . .
. . . but perhaps the movement number 879398 will pin production date down definitively.
1920's - 30's
I believe this is earlier than the 1940's. I would suggest it's from the 1920's - 1930's. The case (bezel) details and the shape of the hands suggest that to me.....my 2 cents.
Quite possible, as one of the scratch marks on the inner case back . . .
