IWC

Watch 1 sold while I was on my way to see Watch 2 in person..... ha ha! So fate intervened.

Thanks for your replies. Everyone agreed on Watch 1. Maybe I gave it too good of a write up. Ha! I kept an eye on Watch 1 for at least 4 months, and then, wouldn’t you know it, the day I try to close the deal, it sells. Ha! I think “somebody” is trying to tell me that it wasn’t in my stars. Actually, some things about Watch 1 and the seller never set right with me from the beginning, so I am actually relieved in some way.

Watch 2 is in excellent condition, beyond my expectations. Except for 1 hairline scratch on the case-back, there are no scratches/dings visible anywhere to the naked eye. It runs at +5 sec. per day. Includes IWC box, but without insides. The IWC leather strap to my pleasant surprise has many more years of life. The only drawback is no IWC gty card, which might not be a deal breaker. By buying Watch 2, instead of Watch 1, I will save over USD $400 from the start. Since Watch 2 has IWC strap/buckle, there will never be a need to spend $500 + out of pocket for IWC leather strap/buckle to bring the watch up to par. Should I ever decide to sell, I hope that without IWC card, I can get a decent price in relation to what I believe I will be saving by buying Watch 2. I am going to sleep on it...
