When it was unveiled in 2014, the MUT 1907 Enamel Grand Feu broke my heart for two reasons: First a very high price, way much higher than the MUT 39 Jubilé platinum which was a real bargain and deal. Then because of a detail which, in my opinion, ruined t...
First of all thanks for the post. I am curious to see the reactions of our fellow Purists friends and I bet the score will be much in favour of the MUT Jubilé which is also my choice BTW. The design of both is sublime (of course it is the same) but... the...
MUT 39 Jubilé platinum ! Email dial has a good visual impact but personally I love the dial to age along with the watch... The dial of Jubilé has its own character with the grained texture plus it allows you to keep the extra cash for another watch ;-) Is...
Jubilee wins on every important issues: material, thickness, price, and one more thing: it is a limited one! I was a lucky owner of a Jubilee, and if I see the pictures, I can tell you: I am still regreting the sale.. Two things speak for the Grand Feu: t...
When both were released, with a difference of one year, there was no match for me. The Jubilé was the clear winner. Now that the enamel dial is " cleaned "... I am not sure anymore. The leaf hands and the enamel dial are torturing me. But let me tell you ...

I do want them to be ultra thin. So the first priority is thickness (or should I say "thiness"). Ceteris paribis, 5.04mm loses out to 4.05mm (by almost 25%).
JLC made MUT with sapphire crystal backs, which increased the thickness by a big margin. I stayed away from MUT when there were no closed back models available at that time.
I'd love to own, if my pocket is deep enough. The MUT Jubilee is not the thinnest in the JLC camp, yet it is already thinner than the MUT white gold enamel dial.
.. Next to the watch & design-related differences, the substantial, hefty price premium on top is another reason.. Thx for this interesting share, Best, hs
is the winner here. Also because I consider its dial design somewhat purer: just the special paper structure of the white surface, black hour markers and dots. Assuming the enamel version sports applied indices (the pics are not 100 % clear and I do not r...
