I was more irked by the Polaris PC.
It isn't hard to see where the idea comes from of adding complications to sports watches in an attempt to attract the "flex" market but AP, PP etc are doing it to extremely distinctive and sought-after models.
The Polaris is a beautiful sports watch which fills a niche at JLC but it is not a Nautilus or a Royal Oak and it feels lazy and a little desperate to try and push it down this road.

The truth is that all brands now want both market segments...
All brands want to sell high volume pieces and to sell low volume pieces. And are making business plans to enter the niche that they are not a part of.

Like you i am not sure adding complications to an otherwise functional sports watch is a good idea. While i have reverso and master is my collection, somehow i feel that polaris is a tad too big for my wrist.
