Jaeger-LeCoultre

Another 101

Pity I cannot see behind the Queen's watch to see any writings or marks behind the casing. I have a feeling this was an early prototype model 101, EJ licensed to some other jeweler.
I would love to compare to a watch I have here. This one has no markings on the case.
It looks like that watch was made pre-JLC, and mounted by some French jeweler, possibly Cartier.  I bet the Queens watch is signed EJ (Edmond Jaeger) as opposed to JLC.
JLC used different hands (needles) after their merger.
Either way, the lozenge on this watch bracelet denotes a mandatory French hallmark after 1797. If that is an X in the middle it would probably denote 1922. Not even sure it's an X.
I need to buy a good macro lens to take some better shots.
