Hi Blomman, thanks for you quick response and information! As i bought the watch second hand, not much information was know about the watch itself, other then the immaculate condition. The leather strap has a small "P" stamped in it near the watch itself, the rest is 'mark-less.' I can only assume the buckle genuine, as it came with the watch. 

What i have found it that 83.000 pieces of the 478 caliber were made between 1945 and 1965. Interestingly enough, Richemont wrote this was a 478/6 caliber, though the watchmaker who serviced the watch mentioned it was a 478/C...
