Because I admire this watch everytime I wear it. I like the 37 mm which makes it very dressy. The dial layout is different but still well balanced IMO. Pure JLC class! Needs some new shoes pretty soon, so what do you reckon; crocodile or something differe...  

I have the same watch and also like it very much. To me, black croc goes best. I don't see many in the pre-owned market, even though it was manufactured for many years. Maybe people don't want to part with it.

... mine is a custom croc strap in a very dark cobalt blue tone. It sets off the blued hands nicely, IMO. It's great to see everyone's RDMs, such a lovely understated watch, especially in the 37mm size. ...  

Blue you say; now that is pretty hard to notice on your picture; must see in the flesh I guess. Maybe I'll go for slightly more light shade of blue. Those blued hands are the best and way better than the painted versions we see these days IMHO. Best, Star... 

The dark blue appears almost black in my picture, and it's best seen in the flesh. Also, my iphone pictures don't show the colours so well :( Perhaps a slightly less dark blue, with dark blue stitches, might be a better shade of blue? My 1815 has a slight...
