A very interesting and lesser known Jubile

I am a big fan of these 2233. These indeed received much less coverage than the other Jubile but they were definitively part of the line (and equally priced at the time).
Also similarly rare

I have always been puzzled that Jaeger LeCoultre made absolutely no mention of the 2233 as the inspiration for the Master Utra Thin (pseudo) Jubilee

The 2233 are little known. I can highlight several versions:

(forgive the very very bad pictures, I just draw them from the safe for illustration and have no photographic equipment handy):

Swiss version, stainless steel

Swiss version, Pink gold (18k PG)

French version Yellow Gold (you can't read, but it has a second line 'Fabrique en Suisse'), (18k YG)

US version, but all swiss made, (18k YG):
